Eight worlds ready to explore

02

Explore Ezekiel’s Temple

Walk through a detailed 3D reconstruction and discover how the temple’s spaces fit together.

Enter the temple
03

Distance vs. Displacement

Move an object through 3D space and see why the path you travel is different from where you end up.

04

Density & Buoyancy Lab

Test different materials, compare their density, and predict whether each object will float or sink.

05

Fluid Displacement

Watch water levels change and explore the forces that help objects float in this step-by-step simulation.

06

Engine Lab

See inside a car engine, watch the four strokes, and tune the spark to get the most power from every drop of fuel.

Start the engine
07

Electric Lab

Look inside an electric car, follow the energy, and experiment with driving, charging and regenerative braking.

08

Inertia Laboratory

Watch a body stay at rest and another move straight at constant speed. Switch coordinate frames to see motion differently.

A peek behind the paint

How this was made

3D Lab began as a pile of big ideas and a blank sheet of paper. Here is what is hiding underneath the paint.

  • Painted by code

Every picture here was painted by a tiny watercolor engine written with Python and OpenCV. It copies real pigment: soft wet edges, color pooling where it dries, grainy paper and little blooms where water creeps back in.

  • Layers that move

Each card is a stack of see-through painted layers. A sprinkle of CSS and JavaScript makes planets orbit, pistons pump and ducks bob, and it all naps when you scroll away.

  • A team of three

Dreamed up and directed by josephpnc, and built side by side with Claude and Codex, two AI coding helpers. Plenty of “what if…?” went back and forth until it felt just right.

  • Light as a feather

No servers and no databases: just simple pages that load fast anywhere. Close this note and tap the page to leave a splash of your own.
